Best «Instagram Spots» in Bali
Hi Nextinator,
This island is incredibly beautiful and we all know it, right? and that it is also super photogenic, so if you go to visit it, you cannot miss the best «Instagram Spots» in Bali.
Here I share several, so you know where to find them:
1. Tegenungan Waterfall
Who has not seen photos of Bali and its enumerable and magical waterfalls? One of them is this, the Tegenunan waterfall , very close to Ubud and the «Monkey Forest». You can see more information about the waterfall here .
But in addition to this I also recommend:
- banyumala
- GitGit
- nungnung
- Dusun Kuning
- Tukad Cepung
2. El Kabron Restaurant
This Spanish-owned club/restaurant is open from 11.20am to 10pm, so you can enjoy its clifftop views all day long. You can even swim in the pool at sunset while enjoying one of their cocktails to the rhythm of one of their DJs, or you can go eat like we did and enjoy its calm atmosphere and its magnificent cuisine.
It is best to book a table through their website: http://elkabron.com/
3.Tropical Fruits
Another of the most photographed things in Bali are its fruits. Get one of its tropical fruits like this one, the dragon fruit or Dragon Fruit which, being pink in color, is super photogenic and stands out with the green of the Ubud jungle and with the blue of the innumerable infinity pools in that area. .
Any of the hundreds of coconuts that are all over the island is also worth it. What are you waiting for?
4. Infinity Pools
One of the most impressive things in Bali is to stay in one of its wonderful hotels with an infinity pool overlooking the jungle or the ocean and check your bucket list.
I recommend you:
- Indigo Seminyak Hotel Pool
- Bisma Eight Hotel pool over the jungle
- Pool of the Ayana hotel in Jimbaran, my favorite.
5.Kynd Community
If you are one of those who likes to photograph food, you will love Bali since almost all the places are super photogenic. In addition, Balinese food is delicious and vegan and «healthy» food has become very fashionable on the island.
One of the places that you cannot miss is the Café Kynd Community.
6. Their temples
The temples in Bali are constantly photographed and it is not for less, they are too beautiful to be true.
I recommend you see:
- Batuan Temple
- the one from Goa Gajah
- that of Pura Gunung Lebah,
- that of Uluwatu,
- the one of Tanah Lot
- that of Besakih.
- that of Pura Luhur Batukaru
7. Its beaches
We cannot forget its beaches. Bali has incredible beaches, with very white and fine sand, with a beautiful turquoise blue sea and waves, well known to surfers. One of the most beautiful is Padang Padang beach , which I also loved because it was one of the settings where the movie «Eat, pray, love» was recorded.
8. Rock Bar Bali
One of the places that I liked the most in Bali in terms of views is this. The best time to go is undoubtedly at sunset since it has one of the most beautiful sunsets on the island. Who can resist having a drink in a place like this, literally on the rocks?
Typ. if you stay at Hotel Ayana or Rimba by Ayana hotel, you have preference to enter if it is very full 🙂
9.Campuhan Ridge Walk
One of the places that are being photographed more and more in Bali is this walk in Campuhan at the top of some hills from where you can see rice fields in the distance, part of the jungle that surrounds Ubud and many, many palm trees. It’s a really amazing place.
10. The Iron
One of the coolest places to have a drink at sunset is » La Plancha» in the Seminyak area. You can sit in front of the sea, in one of its armchairs on the sand, under some colorful parasols while you enjoy a cocktail listening to current music and the waves in the background. Isn’t it the perfect end to a full day in Bali?
11. Sea Circus Restaurant
Bali has hundreds of places to eat or have a drink and they are all beautiful. The decoration of the places is really incredible in Bali.
One of the most photographed places is the Sea Circus for its colorful walls and colorful interior.
12.Coffee Plantation
You cannot go to Bali and not taste its tasty coffees. For coffee fans, trying the richest coffee in Bali is an experience that no one should miss.
You should go to one of the coffee plantations that are all over the island and see how the local people show you the process of making coffee, from the selection of the beans to how it is roasted, crushed, etc. You can’t stop trying a cup of their great Kuwak coffee or «Kopi Kuwak » in Balinese.
It is a coffee extracted from the droppings of a civet-like animal that eats the coffee and digests it and is the most expensive coffee in the world, costing up to €20 for a cup of coffee in some parts of Europe. You can also try their ginger tea, ginseng coffee, coconut coffee and many more.

13. Hotel Mexicola Restaurant
The most beautiful Mexican restaurant in the world! It is the first thing one thinks of when entering inside. The exterior does not do it justice at all, which is why one marvels when entering its large patio with tables and a two-story building.
It’s super colorful, it has neon lights, great music and an incredible atmosphere. In addition, their food is just as good and the treatment of the staff is unbeatable. Without a doubt, I highly recommend it. Many times they have live music and you can’t miss the song they always play from «Welcome to hotel Mexicola» covering the famous Eagles song.
14. Rice fields
There is nothing more incredible in Bali than touring its rice fields. There are several, but the most famous is Tegalalang due to its proximity to Ubud. It is true that the landscape changes depending on whether it is the rainy season or not, but it does not stop surprising in any season.
Have you ever been to a rice field?
15. Fields of Sunflowers and Wild Flowers
I never thought that I would find a field of sunflowers in Bali but I found it and in a super unexpected way, since it is located inside the Sardine Restaurant in Seminyak. By the way, I recommend you come here for dinner one day, the food is 10 and the restaurant is beautiful.
Also, if you travel around Bali by car or motorbike, which is something I recommend you do as it is the best way to see the island, you will see several fields of wild flowers like this one below.

16. W Hotel Pink Pool
One of the coolest places to spend the day in Seminyak, and there are many, is the pool at the W Hotel in Seminyak. If pink is your color, you like flamingos and drinking cocktails in pink coconuts, this is your place.
17. The bamboo entrance of the W Hotel
One of the most beautiful entrances I’ve ever seen, made of bamboo creating a tunnel.
18. Gardens and villas of the Komaneka Hotel in Keramas Beach
Me encantó!!
