Fin de año en la Playa/ New Year’s Eve at the beach

Como os comentaba en mi anterior post este pasado año decidí pasar el Año Nuevo en la playa, concretamente en el Hotel Berjaya Langkawi. El hotel tenía preparado un fiestón para la fiesta de Año Nuevo impresionante: una fiesta Reggae. Duró desde las 6 pm hasta las 3 am y fue sencillamente espectacular!! Además hizo que pudieras conocer a otros huéspedes del hotel durante la cena lo cual fue muy enriquecedor y agradable. La cena era buffet libre con un montón de especialidades y distintas cocinas: India, Malasia, Tailandesa, Italiana, etc. La decoración era espectacular y tenían puesto  a gran tamaño un 2017 hecho en hielo que se iba deshaciendo a medida que pasaban las horas para dar la bienvenida al nuevo 2018. A las 12 en punto nos deleitaron con unos maravillosos fuegos artificiales. Y después empezó un DJ a poner música en la fiesta para los que querían continuar. Sin dudas, un fin de año que recordaré siempre.

As I was telling you in my previous post, this past year I decided to spend the New Year´s Eve at the beach, specifically at the Berjaya Langkawi Hotel. The hotel had prepared a big party to celebrate the New Year: a Reggae party. It lasted from 6 pm to 3 am and it was simply spectacular !! It also made it possible for you to meet other hotel guests during dinner which I thing it was great. The dinner was a buffet with different cuisines: Indian, Malaysian, Thai, Italian, etc. The decoration was spectacular and they had put a huge 2017 made in ice that was melting as the hours passed by to welcome the new 2018. At 12 am o’clock we were delighted with wonderful fireworks at the beach. Then, a DJ started to put some music for those who wanted to continue the party. Undoubtedly, an end of the year that I will always remember.

Ha sido la primera vez que me he despertado el 1 de enero en la playa y literalmente con el sonido de las olas desde la habitación. El Resort, como os comentaba era enorme por lo que nos encantaba explorarlo. Me gustaba especialmente la parte de las Villas de Agua donde podías caminar entre ellas admirando a un lado la verde selva y al otro el azul turquesa del mar. Me encantaba también columpiarme en el columpio que había en la playa y que había hecho con unas cuerdas colgadas de un árbol. Siempre he deseado columpiarme en la playa, con vistas al mar! Y cómo no, no me he cansado de ver palmeras todos los días y de beber agua de coco, que rica! Os dejo aquí varias fotos para que veáis que lugar más increíble! Desde luego que he vuelto con las pilas más que cargadas.

It was the first time I woke up on January 1st at the beach and literally I could heard the sound of the waves from my room. The Resort, as I commented to you, was huge, so we loved to explore it. I especially liked the part of the Water Villas  where you could walk among them, admiring the green jungle on one side and the turquoise blue sea on the other. I also loved the swing that was at the beach. They had made a swing with some strings hanging from a tree. I have always wanted to swing on the same beach overlooking the sea! And of course, I loved to be surrounded by palm trees everywhere and drank coconut water, just delicious! Here you have some photos for you to see how amazing this place is! Of course I have come back with the batteries charged.
